As a demographer, Jesus García puts his faith in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) as a technology tool to change the world (or maybe just upgrade your sidewalks and sewer).

Jesus García describes his work as dry and boring but the GIS maps he's developed have helped change political boundaries in communities large and small.
His work is being used to create positive change for Latino communities in terms of fair and equitable representation at all levels of government, with the ultimate goal of getting more resources to communities in need.
Listen to the inaugural podcast of ImpactoAZ.com as we share García's career successes and challenges in the sphere of statistics, data analysis, and ultimately, resource allocation.
For first-time viewers, the ImpactoAZ podcast is dedicated to centering Latinx voices on the important issues of our time.
