Franc Contreras updates ImpactoAZ on Mexico City's transformation, President Claudia Sheinbaum's popularity and his latest project on his hometown of Tucson.

Mexico City-based journalist Franc Contreras shares his life journey that led him to spending the last three decades based in one of the world’s great cities.

He also dishes on his latest project, a feature length documentary about groundwater contamination on the southside of his hometown of Tucson, Arizona. The making of the film has a personal dimension for Contreras because the subsequent human cancer clusters resulting from that contamination may have taken the life of his mother, who died at age 34.
